Giải Toán 11 Bài 3: Hàm số liên tục 

Thực hành 2 trang 82 Toán 11 Tập 1:Xét tính liên tục của hàm số:$y=\sqrt{x-1}+\sqrt{2-x}$trên [1; 2].

Lời giải:

Đặt $y=f\left(x\right)=\sqrt{x-1}+\sqrt{2-x}$

Với mọi x₀ ∈ (1; 2), ta có:

$\underset{x\to x_0}{\lim }f\left(x\right)=\underset{x\to x_0}{\lim }\left(\sqrt{x-1}+\sqrt{2-x}\right)=\sqrt{x_0-1}+\sqrt{2-x_0}=f\left(x_0\right)$

Ta lại có:

$\underset{x\to 1^{+}}{\lim }f\left(x\right)=\underset{x\to 1^{+}}{\lim }\left(\sqrt{x-1}+\sqrt{2-x}\right)=1=f\left(1\right)$;

$\underset{x\to 2^{-}}{\lim }f\left(x\right)=\underset{x\to 2^{-}}{\lim }\left(\sqrt{x-1}+\sqrt{2-x}\right)=1=f\left(2\right)$.

Vậy hàm số $y=\sqrt{x-1}+\sqrt{2-x}$ liên tục trên [1; 2].
